More Leia in Star Wars Insider #145!

From Frank Parisi on the Star Wars Books Facebook page:

We are pleased to announce that Lucasfilm Senior Editor Jen Heddle has penned a short story starring a certain rebel princess for Star Wars Insider Magazine #145. “Constant Spirit” hurls young Senator Leia Organa into a do-or-die mission, during which learns that freedom cannot be achieved without sacrifice.  Which I guess is a pretty cookie-cutter way of saying that doodoo gets serious. Here’s one of the accompanying pieces of artwork by Magali Villeneuve. The issue hits newsstands October 22 (a few weeks after EMPIRE AND REBELLION: RAZOR’S EDGE goes on sale) and we’re pretty excited for you guys to read this as Jen comes out swinging with a tight, exciting, and character-defining Leia story.

Jennifer Heddle previously has shared her passion for Leia as a character, most notably in this great “show not tell” post aptly titled “Why Leia is Awesome” at Star Wars Blog. Magali Villeneuve is a new name to many Star Wars fans, but I hope she becomes a regular. Some of her work can be found in the new Fantasy Flight RPG manual for Edge of the Empire. Villeneuve has worked in other notable franchises such as Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings. You can see more of her work at her blog.

The current issue of Star Wars Insider also features Leia on the cover and an article on the game-changing character.
