Jennifer Landa’s Fake Geek Takedown

On Thursday, the incredible and creative geek girl Jennifer Landa published a fantastic satirical video on YouTube demolishing the “fake geek” – especially “fake geek girls” – notion that continues to rear its head in fandom. Interviewing a series of men in scanty or sexy cosplay at San Diego Comic-Con, she showcases just how silly the notion is while simultaneously illustrating the double standard that usually goes with the accusation. Bravo to Jennifer on a wonderful video!
