Bring Home Star Wars Rebels Season Two on August 30

Yesterday Lucasfilm announced that the Blu-ray and DVD release of Star Wars Rebels: The Complete Season Two will take place on August 30th. In addition to all of the season’s episode, the release will include several exciting extras. Most intriguing is a featurette with Dave Filoni discussing the climactic showdown between Darth Vader and Ahsoka Tano.

We’re big fans of Rebels here at FANgirl, so needless to say the chance to watch the episodes repeatedly in high-definition is much anticipated. Last month Fangirls Going Rogue organized a live-watch, live-tweet of the Mortis arc from The Clone Wars, which has major symbolic meaning in light of the Rebels Season Two finale.
