Tom Hiddleston as Thor

Tom Hiddleston and his character Loki are popular with the FANgirl crowd. A new clip from Marvel gives a glimpse of his audition for the role of Thor. I’m pretty much sold on Chris Hemsworth for the part, but it highlights how important casting is. Perhaps the door closed for Hiddleston, who obviously worked hard for the audition, and another door opened to an even better future as the beloved anti-hero Loki. It’s also a cautionary tale of patience for Star Wars fans who are anxious for Episode VII casting news.

Heh. I was going to say Loki Signal originally but wasn’t sure it’d be clear what I was referring to. Now I’m imagining a projection of you in the sky flailing & yelling “LOKI!” like a looped gif. And me looking up to see it before standing and yelling “To the internets!”
