Del Rey Star Wars Action Team Wants You!

The Fancorps project announced by Del Rey last year at Celebration VI is now up and running. The Star Wars Action Team – SWAT for short – is seeking recruits who love Star Wars books. Team members can earn points, which can be turned in for free Star Wars merchandise.

It’s relatively simple. Sign in using an existing social media account like Facebook or Twitter. Check for current assignments, which range from posting a review of a Star Wars book on Twitter to creating five crafts from the Star Wars Craft Book. The degree of difficulty determines the number of points earned. Submit proof of completing the assignment and let the points rack up until you have enough to trade in for a merchandise reward. Some of the rewards available are swag from previous conventions like San Diego Comic-Con and Celebration.
