Assembly of Geeks: November 19, 2013

Episode 11 of Assembly of Geeks is up. From the show page:

Admiral Eighties is finally getting to audition for Star Wars…but is it good enough?  And is GANNIN a good audition partner?  We discuss what 80s geek movies still hold up today.

In GANNIN Control Central, we confirm the news that there will no 20th Century Fox fanfare when the next Star Wars movie comes out, we discuss Kevin Smith’s comments about Ben Affleck’s Batsuit, we find out about three separate Peter Pan movies that are in development and learn what people are already saying about the new Hunger Games movie.

In the assembly meeting we take a look at 50 sequels and 57 remakes and discuss which ones are good and bad ideas.  The assembly votes on the best time to produce a remake.
