X-Wing: Mercy Kill Available in Paperback

Today marks the release of the mass market paperback edition of Aaron Allston’s latest Star Wars novel, X-Wing: Mercy Kill.

I blogged about the book when it first went on sale last year, and Kay wrote our review for the blog. It’s an action-adventure romp with great female characters, so if you missed the book the first time around, give it a try now.

And for the completists out there with a mismatched hardcover, now’s your chance to fill out your X-Wing collection with the tenth paperback in the series.

For those who enjoy Allston’s stories, he has joined Michael Stackpole, Timothy Zahn and other science fiction/fantasy authors to produce the anthology Time Traveled Tales through a Kickstarter campaign. There are many different ways to support this project. Allston, Stackpole and Zahn joined Full of Sith to discuss the project and Star Wars.

Finally, news on the upcoming Leia book: Star Wars: Empire and Rebellion: Razor’s Edge by Martha Wells has been pushed up one week to September 24, 2013.
