Celebrate Star Wars Day With Assembly of Geeks

Happy Star Wars Day!

This week’s Assembly of Geeks episode “Star Wars Day” celebrates the Galaxy Far Far Away. Across the internet there will be great deals on Star Wars merchandise and some galactic mayhem. If you want to celebrate with friends, sit down and take a listen to the Assembly discuss their favorite franchise. From the show notes:

May the Fourth be with you!  It’s time to celebrate Star Wars Day 2014!  With so much going on in the Star Wars universe right now, there are plenty of reasons to start celebrating and discussing things right now.

Our Star Wars and Endor-themed episode includes sharing thoughts on the Star Wars Rebels clip that premiered at Wondercon, Dave Filoni’s comments on fan skepticism, the recent announcement about the future of canon and the Expanded Universe and the new line of adult Star Wars books.

We’ll also discuss the guest list for Star Wars Weekends, the latest news regarding the Disney park’s Star Wars expansion, a Kickstarter campaign that’s raising money to fund a documentary about Alan Ladd, Jr. and the release of some new Star Wars costumes and geek gear from Black Milk.

Don’t miss this force-powered assembly meeting or Darth GANNIN will be most displeased with you lack of attendance.

You can also subscribe to the show on iTunes.
